Iran's Energy Exchange announces products to be on sale on May 8

About 100,000 tons of hydrocarbon products will be on sale at the Iranian Energy Exchange on May 8, Trend reports citing the Iranian Energy Exchange (IRENEX).

According to the report, the Iranian Shimibaft Petrochemical Company’s MTBE (methyl tert-butyl ether), raffinate 2 products; Kermanshah Oil Refining Company’s normal butane; Persian Gulf Star Oil Company’s light naphtha products will be on sale on the domestic floor.

Certain products on IRENEX may become available for sale at a later stage, but they are not listed in the initial release.

According to the IRENEX, today on May 5, the Iranol Oil Company’s light and heavy extracts; Shazand Petrochemical Company’s heavy distillate; Bushehr Petrochemical Company’s pentane plus; Kermanshah Oil Refining Company’s distillation tower’s residue; Tabas Parvadeh Coal Company’s coal were sold on the domestic floor.

“Heavy distillate and naphtha products of the Iranian Persian Gulf Star Oil Company; processed residue of distillation tower of Shazand Oil Refining Company; mazut of National Iranian Oil Company were sold on the international floor,” the IRENEX said.

A total of 96,400 tons of goods worth more than 10.3 trillion rials (about $47.5 million according to the SANA system) were sold on May 5.
