Kazakhstan boosts petroleum oils export to Germany

Kazakhstan has exported 813,656 tons of crude petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals worth 324.1 million euros to Germany in March 2021, a Eurostat official told Trend.

In turn, Kazakhstan exported 1.8 million tons of petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals worth 687.05 million euros to Germany over the period from January through March 2021.

Thus, the March volume of petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals from Kazakhstan to Germany is 53.4 percent more compared to January 2021 (530,291 tons) and is 53.6 percent more than in February 2021 (529,667 tons).

March exports are also 84.4 percent more than January 2021 (175.7 million euros) and are 73.2 percent more than in February 2021 (187.1 million euros).

The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Germany amounted to $414.1 million from January through March 2021, compared to $377.1 million during the same period of 2020.

Kazakhstan’s exports to Germany amounted to $71.2 million from January through March 2021, compared to $50.6 million during the same period of 2020.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s imports from Germany amounted to nearly $342.9 million over the reporting period, compared to $326.5 million during the same period of 2020.
