Turkey has imported a total of 575,118 tons of crude oil in July 2021 from Kazakhstan, which accounted for 13.39 percent of total Turkey’s crude oil imports for the month, Trend reports citing Turkey’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).
Thus, Turkey’s import of Kazakh crude oil increased by 98.5 percent compared to January 2021 (289,589 tons) and by 67.07 percent compared to the volume imported in June 2020 (344,234 tons).
Turkey’s import of crude oil from Kazakhstan from January through July 2021 amounted to 2.7 million tons.
The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Turkey amounted to $2.1 billion from January through July 2021, compared to $1.8 billion during the same period of 2020.
Kazakhstan’s exports to Turkey amounted to $1.4 billion from January through July 2021, compared to $1.3 billion during the same period of 2020.
In turn, Kazakhstan’s imports from Turkey amounted to nearly $655.6 million over the reporting period, compared to $505.6 million during the same period of 2020.
