During its entire period of exploitation the Baku-Supsa pipeline has exported a total of 45.2 million tons of oil lifted by the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC) partners, the SOCAR informed Trend.
In January to September 2006 the Baku-Supsa (western pipeline') pipeline exported 5,223 million tons of oil against 5,157 million tons in 2005.
In September 2006 oil export by the AIOC made up 1,972 million tons against 1,173 million tons in September 2006. A total of 515,267 tons of oil was transported via the Baku-Supsa in September against 589,400 tons in 2005.
In January to September 2006 the AIOC, which is involved in the development of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG), exported 14,603 million tons of Azeri Light in different directions, or 7,603 million tons more than last year.
