Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr S. Aliyev / Azerigaz closed joint-stock company expects to receive 4.9bln cu m of gas for distribution among its subscribers from the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) in 2007, the president of Azerigaz, Alikhan Malikov, said during the meeting of the Caspian Integration and Business Centre on 30 May.
According to Malikov, Azerigaz received 4.3bln cu m of gas from SOCAR in 2006, 4.2bln cu m in 2005, and 4bln cu m in 2004.
He noted that Aerigaz was receiving 13bln cu m of gas per 24 hours. The company also receives 7mln cu m per 24 hours of casing-head gas from Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli field. Another 5mln cu m is received by the company from the Shah-Daniz project.
Malikov noted that Azerigaz was expecting to receive 1.8bln cu m of gas in 2007 within the framework of the Shah-Daniz project.
"The gas will be pumped into gas-holders," the president said.
