Azerbaijan studying int’l experience of using artificial intelligence

The processes of accelerating the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies in digital management in Azerbaijan were studied, the experience of the countries was learned, new challenges and future prospects were determined within a three-day international conference, the E-Gov Development Center told Trend on April 29.

Such topics as "Ethics of Artificial Intelligence", "State Strategies for Artificial Intelligence", "Artificial Intelligence and Financial Technologies", "Artificial Intelligence for the Benefit of Everybody", "Transformation of Health Care in Artificial Intelligence", "Artificial intelligence and society", as well as a number of others were discussed during the sessions of the Artificial Intelligence for Digital Governance Conference & Data Competition Confirmation event.

"So, we discussed the prospects of artificial intelligence in management, the use of its individual components in various fields of activity, the transformation of artificial intelligence into civil services and state services of Azerbaijan within the first session," the Center said.

The projects of the ASAN Service and the MyGov platform were discussed during the second session within the "Let's shape the future together" project.

“Having realized the transition from reactive to proactive services, we launched the MyGov project,” the Center said. “Moreover, we provided citizens with even more time to make certain decisions thanks to the automation of daily work by using modern technologies of the new generation.”

Head of the WHO office in Azerbaijan Hande Harmanci reported on digital work and the use of artificial intelligence in the field of medicine in Azerbaijan, as well as the plans to develop a roadmap for digitalization of this sphere during the recent session within the topic "Health transformation with artificial intelligence".

Moreover, the results of the competition organized within the "Artificial intelligence in digital management" international conference were summed up. The main goal was to reveal artificial intelligence specialists in Azerbaijan, establish cooperation with them and implement new projects.

Some 58 speakers from 22 countries took part in the three-day online event Artificial Intelligence for Digital Governance Conference & Data Competition Confirmation, organized by the E-Gov Development Center.
