BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 8. Information and communication enterprises in Azerbaijan provided services worth 2.2 billion manat ($1.2 billion) from January through September 2023, Trend reports.
The data of the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan shows that this figure increased by 14.7 percent year-on-year.
About 75 percent of these services were provided to the population.
Revenues from mobile services in Azerbaijan amounted to 859.2 million manat ($505.4 million) from January through September 2023 (38 percent of the total revenues of the telecommunications market).
Following the results of 2022, revenues from mobile communication and information services increased by 14.8 percent (358.6 million manat or $210.9 million) year-on-year and amounted to over 2.7 billion manat ($1.5 billion).
