Saudi Arabia’s second largest national airline, Flynas, launches regular flights from Riyadh to Tbilisi, Trend reports referring to Georgian Airports Association.

The direct flights from Riyadh to Tbilisi, which will be operated throughout the year, will begin on October 2. As reported, there are will be three direct flights per week.

Flynas Airlines has operated in Georgia since 2018. According to Georgian National Tourism Administration, Georgia has held numerous negotiations with Flynas Airlines on switching seasonal flights to regular ones.

“As a result of successful marketing campaigns and efficient operation of the airline, 44.6 percent more international visits were made from Saudi Arabia to Georgia in the first eight months of this year compared to the same period last year. The decision of Flynas to operate throughout the year is crucial for tourism in our country,” said Mariam Kvrivishvili, head of the Georgian National Tourism Administration.

Flynas is the second largest national airline of Saudi Arabia, which operates flights to 35 destinations around the world. The airline fleet consists of the latest aircraft (Airbus A320NEO).
