Police completed a special operation against the individuals suspected of a policeman murder in Kazakh city of Almaty, Intefax-Kazakhstan reported with the reference to a witness.
"The special operation has been completed. We heard 25-30 shots and explosions but now there is no more of them. Police said all the suspects had been killed by a sniper. According to the police, four to six suspects were killed," the source said.
According to the source, residents of a building were evacuated early in the morning, under the pretext of the exercise.
Kazakh police carried special operation to arrest the killers of a policeman in a high rise building in Almaty on Monday.
On June 28 unknown people committed an armed attack on police officers operating in Kazakh city of Almaty. One policeman was killed, another was badly injured as a result.
