BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 21. The organizations of the financial sector of Kyrgyz economy had a considerable increase in revenues from January through September 2022, Trend reports citing the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.
According to statistics, in 9 months of this year the revenues of financial organizations reached about 75 billion soms ($888.1 million), which is 1.6 times more compared to the corresponding period of 2021.
Kyrgyzstan's National Statistical Committee notes that from January through September 2022, 67 percent of enterprises in the financial sector of Kyrgyzstan made a profit, and 13 percent - losses.
Meanwhile, during the reporting period a total of 603 organizations operated in the financial sector of the Kyrgyz economy, including the National Bank, 23 commercial banks, 565 non-banking financial and credit organizations and 14 insurance companies.
As of 21 November 2022, the official exchange rate set by the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan is KGS 84,44/1USD.
