A joint investment project is being realized on the Komsomolskoye field in the Kostanay region, Kazakhstan for exploration of gold-bearing ores.
The works is carried out jointly by the Tobol Company and the Ontustik Technocomplex , Kazinform reported referring to Tobol.
The work is planned to last until 2020. The amount of investments needed to explore the deposit is about 360 million tenge.
It is planned to conduct geological exploration work on the contract territory, upon completion of which gold reserves will be approved, and a decision will be made on the expediency of further development of the field itself.
The corporation also noted that to date the project is at the stage of transferring the contract to a joint venture, after the transfer of which the partner companies plan to start exploration.
