BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 17. Turkmen Demiryollary OJSC has purchased five Russian mainline freight locomotives produced by the Bryansk Machine-Building Plant, Trend reports citing Orient news.
Bryansk Machine-Building Plant is part of the Transmashholding Group, the largest company in the Russian transport engineering market.
According to the information, the delivery was carried out in accordance with the contract concluded in August 2022 between Demiryollary OJSC and Transmashholding JSC.
Representatives of Demiryollary OJSC note the quality and reliability of these locomotives and intend to continue cooperation on updating and expanding the company's transport fleet.
Modernization and renewal of the technical part of the railway industry of Turkmenistan are carried out on a systematic basis in order to increase the volume, expand the geography of transportation and implement major international projects in the transport and logistics sector.
