Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier-General Hossein Dehqan has said the home-made “Qaher” fighter jet will undergo final tests in near future.
The minister added that the fighter jet will taxi on the runway over the coming weeks, Fars news agency reported.
Brigadier-General Hossein Dehqan further added that Qaher will fly over the next Iranian calendar year (starting March 21).
The plans on developing the single-seat stealth fighter aircraft, Qaher, were publicized earlier in 2013.
