Georgian deputy foreign minister Davit Jalaghania met with the European bank for Reconstruction and Development president's political advisor Mahar Babayev and senior economist of the bank in Georgia and Azerbaijan Anita Tach.
It dealt with future plans of the European bank towards Georgia at the meeting, as well as political and economic situation in the country, the foreign ministry's information and press department said.
Te European Bank intends to suggest updated version of strategy for Georgia. Goal of the visit is to estimate political and economic situation in the country for preparation of this strategy. It will be submitted to leadership of the bank, Mahir Babayev said.
The sides also discussed future prospects and priorities of Georgia amid background existing in the country from the point of view of integration in NATO and EU.
