Mitt Romney, who was candidate for the U.S. president, congratulated the country's president Barack Obama on his victory, by conceding his defeat, RIA Novosti reported.
"I have just called Barack Obama to congratulate him on the victory in presidential elections," Romney said during his speech at his Campaign Office in Boston.
