The Turkish Foreign Ministry has sent a note of protest to Libya in connection with the shelling of the Turkish cargo ship from the Libyan side, the Turkish Anadolu news agency said May 12 with reference to the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.
The minister went on to add that Ankara condemns the shelling of the Turkish cargo ship and urges the Libyan side to identify and punish its perpetrators.
Turkish cargo ship was attacked off the coast of Libya from the air and land on May 11. The attack resulted in one man being dead, with several others wounded.
