The value of grain and legumes’ export from Turkey to international markets has grown in the first half of 2021, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
According to the ministry, this indicator amounted to over $4.1 billion, an increase of 34.1 percent compared to the same period of 2020.
In June 2021, Turkey exported grain and legumes worth more than $766.5 million, which is 34.1 percent more than a month earlier, the ministry noted.
Over the past 12 months (from June 2020 through June 2021), Turkey’s exports of grain and legumes abroad exceeded $7.9 billion.
