The attempts to hold action by the Azadlig block were suppressed on 28 August 2005, the National Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA), reformists, told Trend.
According to the report, the Nakhchevan city authorities ignored the appeal of the oppositionists on holding the action. The police forces, based on this fact, dispersed the action’s participants.
In the residence of the PFPA (reformists) Nakhchevan branch the Azadlig block members met with the OBSE observers Rumen Malayev and Berit Lindemann on 29 August and discussed preparations to the elections and other issues.
