Scheduled changes will be made in the Board of Directors of Kazakh BTA Bank as the result of restructuring completion, the Bank reported on Monday.
According to the Bank, Chairman of the Board of Directors Anvar Saidenov, Creditor Directors Sergey Babayan and Jacek Brzezinski, and Independent Director Ilkka Salonen filed notices on termination of their powers as the Bank's Directors upon their own initiative with effect from February 14, 2013.
"The Board of Directors as currently composed successfully resolved all its tasks, the main of which was definitely completion of the Bank's restructuring. By constructive representation of the interests of different groups of shareholders, the Directors made a substantial contribution to realization of such a challenging and scaled process. Besides, direct involvement of the Directors let for a considerable increase of the Bank's corporate governance level," Anvar Saidenov said.
The issue of changes in the Board of Directors will be considered at the Shareholders' Meeting scheduled on February 14.
