Following deadly crash of a Malaysian passenger plan in Ukraine and getting kill of entire 295 people on board, IRI President Hassan Rouhani condoled with Malaysian nation and government in a message addressed to Malaysian prime minister, IRNA reported.

The message addressed to the Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razzak reads:

The news on the downing of the Malaysian passenger plane deeply depressed me. I sincerely condole with Your Excellency and the noble Malaysian nation on the death of innocent passenger and flight crews of this plane in that sad incidence.

Beyond doubt such sad incidents and the deep sorrow that emerges the hearts of the nations highlight the necessity of return of the international society to peaceful coexistence and stating away from aggressions and conflicts more than ever before.

In this holy month of Divine blessings and Godˈs all-embracing forgiveness I pray to Almighty Allah for the salvation of the souls of the bygone victims of this human disaster and for the patience and strength of the souls of their bereaved family members of those victims.

Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 crashed in Ukraine, on the border with Russia, with 295 people onboard.

Ukraineˈs interior ministry says the plane was shot down by a missile.

Many of the passengers were Malaysian Muslims returning home for the Eid al-Fitr festival marking the end of Ramadan.
