Iran is currently negotiating with 9 international companies to export LNG while China and India have requested to buy Iran's LNG, Mehr News Agency reported quoting Managing Director of Iranian LNG Corporation Ali Kheyrandish as saying.
"Currently negotiations for LNG export continue between Iran and nine international companies while China and India had various negotiations to purchase Iran's LNG export.," he said.
Iran is negotiating with European companies, South East Asia, Africa alongside Venezuela and Indonesia, he added.
The construction of LNG factories in Assalouyeh completed by 52 percent and it's predicted to export first LNG cargo in next two years.
Approximately $1.5 billion invested on the project while it requires $2.5 billion new investments in mega gas project. It aims to produce 10.8 million tons of LNG annually which brings $20 million revenue per day.
