President of  Azerbaijan and  Poland Hold Talks in   Warsaw

Azerbaijan, Baku, 26 February / corr. Trend S. Agayeva/ The Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Lekh Kachinski discussed the prospects of the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Poland and cooperation within the framework of GUAM in Warsaw on 26 February.

The parties exchanged views on energy cooperation.

The Presidents of the two countries met within the framework of the visit of Azerbaijani President to Poland that began on 26 February.

The bilateral documents are being signed in Warsaw as a result of the bilateral talks between the government delegations of two countries, a source in the Azerbaijani Embassy in Poland said on a telephone.

The joint statement of the Presidents and several agreements on economic cooperation are expected to be signed within the framework of the visit.

The Azerbaijani president and the government delegation accompanying him will visit Gdansk on 27 February, the Embassy of Poland in Azerbaijan said. The President will get familiar with the oil refinery in Gdansk where Azerbaijani oil will be supplied.
