On July 23, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree to approve documents signed between Azerbaijan and Georgia in Baku on May 20, 2009, Azertaj state news agency reported.
In accordance with the decree, the agreements on cooperation in the sphere of protection of intellectual properties and a protocol on changes to agreement on unlimited commerce, dated 1996 were adopted.
The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers was commissioned to arrange necessary activities to implement the decree, and the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry is charged to inform the Georgian government about the fulfillment of necessary domestic procedures for enactment of documents.
