According to an announcement shared by the press service of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) on Tuesday, officers from the Ombudsman' administration visited via order of Ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova, the place of detention of persons detained under administrative orders regarding the unauthorized March 10 demonstrations.
Administration officers met detainees and acquainted themselves with the conditions of their detention and the documents approving the legitimacy of their detention.
Mahammad Majidli, Babek Hasanov, Turkel Alisoy, Elvin Bayjan and Ilkin Rustamzadeh, detained in administrative order, didn't make complaints about the detention conditions. Some of them complained about the crowdedness of the detention centre of Sabail District Police Department.
A doctor checked the status of their health and determined that there were no problems.
It was also found that each of them spoke by phone with their relatives and friends according to the rules provided by law.
Besides them, the Ombudsman's administration officers met 10 more detained people.
They gave respective recommendations to the detention place administration.
