The Azerbaijani president, Ilham Aliyev accepted the American ambassador, Reno Harnish, who has terminated his service in the country, on April 21, Trend reports.
Harnish emphasized that relations between the 2 countries are developing successfully. The diplomat expressed his gratitude for attention he received while serving in Azerbaijan.
President thanked ambassador for his contribution in the development of bilateral relations and wished him successes in his future career.
Aliyev assured that the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and US will continue to develop and that his future visit to Washington will make a valuable contribution in Azerbaijani- American relations.
