The chairman of the permanent parliamentary commission on law policy and state arrangements, Ali Huseynov, spoke on the first issue concerning the appointment of the Supreme Court.
Huseynov said that the head of state submitted to the parliament the candidates for vacancies in the Supreme Court. The chairman of the commission also said that the issue was discussed at the Legal Council. As a result of voting, Ilgar Gilijov, Vasaitdin Ibayev, Gurbat Asgarov and Zakir Guliyev became judges of the Supreme Court.
