A ceremony to present new cars to the City Road Police Department of Baku was held Azadlyg square on 23 September. Ramil Usubov, the Azerbaijani Interior Minister, was in attendance, Trend reports.
A total of 200 automobiles of BMW model with super salon provided with advanced equipment and special appliances were delivered to Baku in accordance with a direct agreement with BMW company.
Minister Usubov awarded keys and documents of the new automobiles to the chiefs of road police and wished them successes in the preservation of road police rules.
Automobiles of Volkswagen model, awarded the City Road Police in 2005, will be given to the disposal of road police unit in the regions.
