BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 16. Turkish exports of automotive industry products to China increased by 11.2 percent from January through April 2024 compared to the same period last year and amounted to $18.1 million, Trend reports via the Turkish Trade Ministry.
“In April this year, Türkiye exported automotive products worth $3 million to China, which is 46.7 percent less than in April last year,” the ministry said.
From January through April 2024, Türkiye's automotive industry exports to foreign markets increased by 5.1 percent year-on-year to $11.9 billion.
In April this year, the country exported automotive products worth $2.7 billion abroad, up 2.1 percent year-on-year.
To note, over the past 12 months (from April 2023 through April 2024), Türkiye exported $35.6 billion worth of automotive products to foreign markets.
