BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 17. Türkiye's exports of ready-made garments to Georgia fell 22.8 percent year-on-year to $33.6 million from January through April 2024, the statement of Türkiye's Trade Ministry said, Trend reports.
"Türkiye exported ready-made garments worth $7.3 million to Georgia in April this year, which is 31.1 percent less than in April last year," the statement from the ministry says.
Additionally, it should be noted that Türkiye's exports of ready-made garments decreased by 13.8 percent from January through April 2024 compared to the same period last year and amounted to $5.8 billion.
However, Türkiye exported ready-made garments worth $1.2 million in April this year, which is 17.8 percent less than in April last year.
To note, over the past 12 months (from April 2023 through April 2024), Türkiye exported ready-made garments worth $18.3 billion.
