Azerbaijan-Moroccan Intergovernmental Economic Co-operation Commission to be Created

The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Morocco, Sabir Agabeyov, exclusively informed Trend that there is a plan to create Azerbaijan-Moroccan Intergovernmental Economic Co-operation Commission. The Ambassador said that the Governments of both countries have already begun the negotiations on this issue. According to him, there is a great potential for the development of the economic co-operation between Azerbaijan and Morocco, and creating the Commission will cause the expansion of the all-sided co-operation of the two countries.

According to the Ambassador, there is a need to create agreement-legal base to achieve concrete results. The Embassy has already presented the Government of Morocco the pack of projects of agreements on co-operation in various spheres. The documents cover such spheres as education, culture, tourism, fuel and energy complexes, customs, trade, agriculture. The documents are expected to be signed during the forthcoming mutual visits of the governmental delegations.
