ASTANA, Kazakhstan, May 7. The Beineu grain terminal in the Mangystau region of Kazakhstan, which has been inactive since 2018, will resume its work, Trend reports.

Eurasia Trans Logistic LLP became the new owner of the enterprise, according to the regional executive power. The terminal's design capacity will be 100,000 tons of simultaneous grain storage, as well as 400 tons of flour production per day.

At the same time, the terminal will be able to produce 25,000 tons of bran per year. The terminal's cargo turnover can reach 2 million tons per year.

"In the cold season, the need for bran and feed reaches 25,000–28,000 thousand tons annually." The Beineu grain terminal's launch will fully meet this demand in the Mangystau region. Currently, the Kostanay region, Uralsk, and Russia supply the bran. Although production in Russia is cheaper, transportation increases product costs. Local production will reduce costs by 15-20 percent by reducing transportation costs," said Kazbek Tashimov, the head of the Mangystau region's agriculture department.

Zhanbyrbay Dospayev, the Director of Eurasia Trans Logistics LLP, stated that they plan to export products to foreign countries like Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan due to the resumption of activity at the Beineu grain terminal.

"The export of Mangystau products to Afghanistan will have a multiplier economic effect not only on our region, but also on Kazakhstan as a whole," he said.

In 2010, the Beineu grain terminal came into operation. On an area of 16 hectares, there were automated workshops for grain processing and feed production, and an elevator.
