BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 7. The number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan grew by 0.9 percent to 768,900 as of May 1, 2024, Trend reports.
Data of the State Tax Service under the country's Ministry of Economy shows that the number of active VAT payers in the country grew by 5.3 percent to 48,100, and the number of business entities reached 205,000 during the reporting period.
Meanwhile, the number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan increased by seven percent to 761,700 as of January 1 this year.
