Two oil workers injured at Azerbaijan oil rig to continue treatment

Two oil workers injured in the fire at the Guneshli offshore oil platform, which were previously discharged from the Azerbaijani Central Hospital of Oil Workers, will continue their treatment, deputy director of the hospital Nadir Mehtiyev told Trend Dec.7.
Both injured were discharged from the hospital for outpatient treatment, he said.
Psychologists work with the victims who are currently in the hospital, said the deputy director.
As a result of a strong storm on Dec.4 at 17:40 (UTC/GMT + 4 hours), a high-pressure underwater gas pipeline was damaged which caused a fire at Guneshli field of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan.
As a result of the large-scale work, 33 people were rescued. One oil worker was found dead and his body was handed over to his family, while 29 people are listed as missing.
