Azerbaijan has been informed that the body of another missing oil worker has been found January 11 in the Turkmenistan's sector of the Caspian Sea, said the message on the website of SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic).

The body of the mentioned oil worker will be delivered to Azerbaijan and he will be identified.

Meanwhile, Azerbaijani ministry of emergency situations said that a body of an oil worker found 55 kilometers from the coast of Turkmenistan during the search and rescue operations by Azerbaijani vessel "Jabbar Hashimov".

The information was immediately sent to the nearby Turkmen "Caspian Rovshan" vessel, the body was lifted on board and is now being delivered to the port of Turkmenbashi.

After receiving the information, preparations for the delivery of the body to Azerbaijan by amphibious aircraft of the country's ministry of emergency situations and its identification by investigative team started.

A fire broke out on the offshore platform Dec. 4, as a strong storm damaged an underwater high-pressure gas pipeline. As many as 33 people were rescued in an ensuing large-scale operation. The bodies of ten killed were retrieved, while 20 oil workers are still listed as missing.
