During the year the register of bank debtors in Georgia increased by 70 per cent amounting to more than 67,000 people. The monthly increase is 5966 borrowers.
According to the Georgian National Bureau of Enforcement, all individuals and legal bodies in respect of the enforcement that began from January 1, 2010 are registered on this register.
On the basis of a court decision, the Bureau of Enforcement gives debtors a week to cover the debt and then seizes their property.
