Kazakhstan to export military equipment to Uzbekistan, Tajikistan

Kazakh optic-electronic devices for military use, produced by AselSan Engineering LLP, will be exported to Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, Kazakh media outlets reported.

Aselsan Engineering LLP, founded in 2011, fulfills the tasks of the defense industry of Kazakhstan in the field of electronic and electronic-optical products. On May 23, the company presented new combat modules, optoelectronic devices, mobile software and hardware at the international arms show "KADEX-2018".

Information on export of optic-electronic devices was also confirmed by Abiur Alshimbaev, deputy general director of the company.

"We are going to export electronic and optical products to Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. We have competitive products. The fact that we are competing in optics with such world leaders as Israel, Russia, Belarus, already means a lot, "Alshimbaev said.

Kazakhstan will hold KADEX-2018 exhibition from May 23 to May 26, 2018 in the military sector of Astana International Airport.

The list of participants of the exhibition includes Kazakh and foreign enterprises of the defense-industrial complex and space industry, leading design bureaus and research institutes in the field of information security.
