Since the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2019) to date, 94 investors have been attracted to the industrial parks of Iran's Qazvin province and have been given land to create manufacturing facilities, Executive Director of Qazvin Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization (ISIPO) Hamedreza Khanpour said, Trend reports citing IRNA.

According to the agreements signed between the investors and ISIPO, 209 land plots have been allocated for construction of production facilities, Khanpour said.

Khanpour added that Qazvin province ranks first in Iran in attracting investors and allocating land plots in industrial parks.

Most of the investors in Qazvin province have been attracted to Khorramdasht, Leya, Caspian and Hakimiya industrial parks, the executive director said.

Industrial parks are provided with infrastructure, including water, electricity, gas supplies, telephone lines, internet and more, Khanpour said, adding that investors pay for the construction of production facilities.

There are 20 industrial parks in Iran's Qazvin province and over 900 manufacturing facilities operate in them.

Moreover, a decision was made to increase the area of the province's industrial parks to 535 hectares in the current Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 to March 21, 2020).
