Steel exports by Iranian companies increased by 25 percent over the 10 months of this Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 through Jan. 20, 2020) compared to the same period last year, Trend reports referring to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
The report reflects steel exports by 11 Iranian companies - Esfahan Steel Company, Mobarakeh Steel Company, Khouzestan Steel Company, Oksin Steel Company, Iran Alloy Steel Company, Khorasan Steel Company, Hormozgan Steel Company, South Kaveh Steel Company, Saba Steel Company, Binab Steel Company and Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company.
These companies exported a total of 5.8 million tons of various steel products, the report said.
This figure was 4.7 million tons in the same period last year.
The 11 companies exported 674,800 tons of steel products in the tenth Iranian month (from Dec. 22, 2019 through Jan. 20, 2020).
Steel exports increased by 93 percent in the tenth month compared to the same period last year.
