Review of Georgia's Export Price Index

The Export Price Index (XPI) increased by 2.8 percent in April 2020 compared to the previous month in Georgia,Trend reports referring to Georgian National Statistics Office (Geostat).

As reported, there was a 3.4 percent increase in the prices for manufactured products.

Compared to April 2019, the XPI increased by 15.7 percent. In the mentioned period, prices increased for manufactured products by 14.2 percent and for products from mining and quarrying by 27.3 percent.

The XPI increased by 3.9 percent in Georgia in March 2020 compared to February 2020. In the reporting period, there was a 4.4-percent increase in the prices for manufactured products.

Compared to March 2019, in March 2020 the XPI increased by 12.8 percent. Prices for manufactured products increased by 10.7 percent and for products from mining and quarrying by 27.9 percent.
