The Üçek, a Turkmen company based in the Mary region that manufactures packaging products, has recently introduced a cold laminating process, Trend reports referring to Business Turkmenistan.
The company’s representative noted that the company plays a significant role in the production of flexible packaging products in the local market.
Packaging products are in high demand in Turkmenistan among businesses producing chocolate, dry goods, biscuits, chips, coffee, and legumes.
In his words, introducing modern equipment from the world's leading companies into the enterprise allows it to produce 80 tons of products per month.
Along with imported raw materials, local ones are also used in the production of packaging, which according to the representative, increases competition with foreign manufacturers and aids in the production of import-substituting products in the country.
"Our main goal is to contribute to the production of import-substituting and export-oriented products in our country by manufacturing domestic packaging products," the company’s representative said.
The Üçek, founded in 2020, is open to cooperating with local entrepreneurs. The young company is currently negotiating with foreign partners to expand its international exports.
