Iran's imports from Azerbaijan amounted to about 20,300 tons worth about $35.8 million, during the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through February 19, 2022), the Spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Rouhollah Latifi told Trend.
According to Latifi, Iran's imports from Azerbaijan for 11 months increased by 66 percent in value, while decreased by 15.9 percent in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.
“Meanwhile, in the same period last Iranian year, Iran had imported 24,100 tons of goods worth $21.5 million from Azerbaijan,” the official noted.
The spokesman also added that the trade turnover between the two countries for 11 months amounted to about 779,000 tons worth about $528 million.
