BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 11. Iran's production of petroleum products in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2023, through March 19, 2024) amounted to 74.3 million tons, head of the production control department of Iran's National Petrochemical Industries Company, Bijan Chegeni said, Trend reports.

According to him, it accounts for 79 percent of Iran's petrochemical production.

Chegeni noted that Iran's National Petrochemical Industries Company has set a goal to increase the country's petrochemical production. Thus, if production increases, the export of petrochemical products will increase in parallel with it, which will bring income to the country.
