BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 10. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva participated in the opening of the Mamayi Mosque in Shusha following its restoration, Trend reports.
The head of state and the First Lady were briefed on the completed restoration work.
The restoration of the Mamayi Mosque, supported by PASHA Holding and undertaken by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, began in 2023. The mosque, constructed in the late 19th century in the Mamayi quarter at the city center, has been restored to its original splendor.
