Türkiye's electrical equipment exports to Azerbaijan decline

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 11. Turkish exports of electrical equipment to Azerbaijan decreased 28.1 percent year-on-year to $67.7 million from January through April 2024, the statement of Türkiye's Trade Ministry said, Trend reports.

“Türkiye exported $14.9 million worth of electrical equipment to Azerbaijan in April this year, which is 15.3 percent less than in April last year,” the statement from the ministry says.

To note, Turkish electrical equipment exports abroad fell 0.8 percent to $5.2 billion from January through April 2024.

Moreover, Türkiye exported $1.2 billion worth of electrical equipment abroad in April this year, down 1.3 percent year-on-year.

In the last 12 months (from April 2023 through April 2024), the country exported electrical equipment worth $16.2 billion to foreign markets.
