ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, May 11. Entrepreneurs from Türkiye have concluded deals for the purchase of textile products on the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trend reports.
According to the exchange, representatives of the Turkish business community have concluded an agreement on the exchange for the purchase of harsh single-carded cotton yarn for weaving production for a total amount of over $712,000.
At the same time, other entrepreneurs from Türkiye also signed a deal with a Turkmen company on the stock exchange for the purchase of cotton yarn for a total of over $1.1 million.
Meanwhile, Turkmenistan plans to invest more than $300 million in more than 30 textile sector projects by 2025.
Significant investments will be made in both expanding present capacity and establishing over ten new manufacturing facilities, with existing firms serving as the foundation.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation for export-import operations.
