The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) exported about 1.23 million tons of oil products from its own refineries in January-October compared to about 1.6 million tons during the same period of 2010, SOCAR said.
SOCAR exported 140,600 tons of oil products in September compared to 147,200 tons during the same period of 2010.
The country produces oil products at two Baku refineries with a total capacity of 20 million tons of oil per year. Both refineries belong to SOCAR, which annually processes approximately 7 million tons of oil from the Azerbaijani offshore and onshore fields.
