Electricity tariffs in Kyrgyzstan will be increased by 4 percent as of April 1, 2015, Kabar news agency reported referring to the head of the Department for Regulation of the Fuel and Energy Complex under the Ministry of Industry and Energy of Kyrgyzstan Mirgul Aidarova.
"The government has instructed the Ministry of Energy to implement the decree on tariffs in accordance with the new tariff policy until 2017," Aidarova said at a press-conference in Bishkek on Sept. 4.
She stressed that from September 1, 2015 electricity tariffs will be increased by 4 percent for all types of consumers.
