Launch of Oil Export from an Azerbaijani Condensate Field Allows Solving Gas Redistributing Issue between Georgia and Turkey

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend , corr. S. Aghayeva/ Zurab Gumberidze, Georgia's Ambassador to Azerbaijan, has claimed today that the issue on redistributing gas produced from Azerbaijani gas condensate field, "Shah-Daniz' will be solved after the export of this blue fuel is launched via SCP (South Caucasian Gas Pipeline).

According to him, the above-mentioned issue has already discussed during the negotiations held among experts of Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey, and they will be resumed as soon as the gas transportation is launched.

"Georgia has plans to further develop its cooperation with Azerbaijan in the future in energy sphere not only regionally, but also bilaterally,' noted the Georgian Ambassador.

"We have also plans for cooperation in the field of electric power," added the foreign diplomat.
