Tax revenue payments to Georgia's state budget paid by foreign-owned enterprises in the country have increased Trend reports via the Georgian State Commission on Migration Issues.
Tax revenue for the Georgian state budget paid by foreign-owned enterprises in Georgia reached 945.1 million lari ($320.2 million) in 2018.
Tax revenues paid by foreign-owned enterprises is steadily increasing, said the commission. In 2015 the payments stood at 719.6 million lari ($243 million), in 2016 - 820.4 million lari ($277.1 million).
In 2017 the figure reached 827.5 million lari ($279.5 million).
There were 17,122 active foreign-owned enterprises in Georgia, which were paying taxes in 2018. Most of them were registered in Tbilisi.
