Liquidity in Iran increasing

BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 13. The liquidity in Iran increased by 34.3 percent at end of the 7th month of the current Iranian year (October 22, 2022), compared to the end of the same month of the last Iranian year, Trend reports via the statistics of Central Bank of Iran (CBI).

According to the statistics, the liquidity in Iran amounted to 56.7 quadrillion rials (about $1.35 trillion) at the end of the 7th month.

“The share of money in liquidity was approximately 12.8 quadrillion rials (about $305 billion) at the end of the 7th month, which is an increase of 56.3 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year,” the statistics said.

Meanwhile, the share of near-money in liquidity was 44.9 quadrillion rials (about $1.06 trillion) at the end of the 7th month. This is an increase of 29 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.

In addition, the liquidity in Iran increased by 17.5 percent at the end of 7th month of the current Iranian year compared to the end of last Iranian year (March 20, 2022).
